Starting my loading days!

Today I start phase 1. Three Loading days. I am supposed to gorge out on as much fat food as I possible can but finding it a little difficult to do considering I don't normally eat all day long, and I really don't eat that much. I am overweight right now because of the types of foods I have been eating not so much the quantity. Pizza, pasta, ice cream, Lot's of milk and so on. It's just a little depressing that all my favorite foods are what's bad for me. The thing that makes me happy would one day kill me. I guess I just need to start finding other things to make me happy because I refuse to let food be the death of me. That's what been my biggest problem is eating something yummy when I am happy to celebrate, eating something yummy when I'm upset to make me feel better, and eating something yummy when I'm bored just to have something to do, and that happens a lot cause I am now a stay at home mom. This is going to be difficult but I have to do it, I have to. I will be loading for today and the next two days. I'll check back Oct 1st which will be the beginning of phase 2 and when I start my VLCD. Peace!

HCG protocol phases

As far as I understand, the HCG protocol has four phases.

First phase starts with your loading days. For the first three days of the HCG diet your body needs to load up on fat. (Not sugar, Fat) Your body needs as much fat in your system as possible because it can take up to three days for the HCG to go into full swing in your blood stream. If you load properly on foods that are high in fat, this could help you avoid that hunger feeling that you might otherwise get in those three days. After the three days with the HCG being in your system you should not feel hunger.

Second phase, Very Low Calorie Diet (VLCD) during this phase which you will start just after the three days you spend in phase one you will begin your VLCD. For men it's 800 cal a day and for women it's 500 cal a day. If your a extremely overyweight I would recomend women starting out with 800 cal a day. There are certain foods you can only eat on phase 2. I will give examples of my food menu as I blog about phase 2.

Third phase, after phase 2 you will now move onto phase three. On phase three you no longer have to count your calories, but you cannot eat anything at that has sugar or starch for two weeks. This is so your body can get used to having more calories but will not put on the weight again.

Fourth phase, this is the finale phase. If you have more weight to lose you can go back to phase one or if your happy with your weight you can continue onto phase four. Phase four is the mantinance  phase. You slowly at in sugars and starches but watch what you eat and eat in moderation.

For me after having my children I did not continue onto phase four. I am not going to make any excusses I just did not do it and I should have. I should have went back to phase one and continue my wieght loss but I didn't. Now I am ready to go back to phase one and finish what I started.

About buying the HCG hormone

For all those who are wanting to start the HCG protocol themselves I would recomend testing the HCG out first on a home pregnancy test. There are a lot of places selling enhancment liquid for the HCG but not the actual HCG. Note you cannot buy real HCG in the united states without a perscription. I buy mine through an escrow sevice for pharmacy meds. I pay a whole lot less for my HCG that way then I would be paying for it in the U.S. To get HCG from a doctor here in the U.S. you could be paying over a hundred dollars for a one month supply. I paid 160 included shipping for a three month supply. Also your doctor here in the U.S will give you the HCG in a shot once a week. That means going to your doctors office once a week and paying a co pay and services on top of what you would be paying for the shot. All in all it's just cheaper by buying it from out of the country. That's my opinon.

HCG protocol

Notice: I am not a doctor, and anything I write about on my blog has not been approved by a doctor. I am accountable for my own actions, as will you be.

Hi, so before I go straight into the HCG protocol I would like to introduce it to those who may not know what it is. First off HCG is a hormone the female body produces while pregnant. When taking this hormone while on a very strict very low calorie diet you lose weight very quickly. From half a pound to two pounds per day. Men tend to lose closer to two pounds female a little less. Taking this hormone can trick your brain into thinking your body is providing for a baby. Your body will not let you use vital nutrients your body needs as energy, instead you body takes away stored fat to use as energy. This way you don't lose bone mass or muscle mass, thus the reason for the very low calorie diet. Eating more calories than what your body would burn normally in one day will put on stored fat. When taking this hormone and combining it with the 500 female and 800 male calorie diet, your body is not getting enough calories to burn in a normal day, so metabolism will need to take away from this stored fat to use as energy. This is a very controversial diet, many people disagree with it's methods. I am assume most of those people have not done a complete research of this protocol. I have done my research and in my opinion this works wonders. I myself have already tried this diet just before getting pregnant with my second child, I went from 280 to 245 in a matter of 2 and a half months. I have tried many diets before and this has been the only effective one for me. So now after having my second child, getting married, and going on a honeymoon, I am ready to get back on the saddle again, and do this HCG protocol again. I invite you to join me on my journey as I blog about my experience with this diet. I plan to start this Oct 1st, 2012. I will be adding updates every week.
